Our Mission.

Together we break the cycle.

Opblue was founded with the sole purpose of initiating real, life-changing impact across the globe.

Our mission is to create a world where basic human rights are provided to all people. Our Operations bring communities together; integrating local cultures and beliefs with our sustainable water, education and health solutions. We work with local staff and organisations to bring this vision to life, ensuring our impact is far-reaching and built to last. With every Operation we increase our reach, helping break the cycle of poverty, one individual and one community at a time.

What does the name ‘Opblue’ represent?

Operation. meaning ‘the repair of damage.’

Blue. representing freedom, inspiration and trust.

  • Freedom from the life cycle of poverty.

  • Inspiring long-term, sustainable change.

  • Cultivating mutual trust.

Our Team.

Jack Wilson.

Founder, Managing Director & OpWater Coordinator.

  • Jack founded Operation Blue Ltd in 2021, and today works as the Managing Director and Director of OpWater.

Following a stint in the Royal Australian Navy, Jack was in the process of launching an environmentally focused not-for-profit, however, following time in Kenya and Timor Leste, this dream shifted focus to address the global water crisis, and helping developing communities that lacked access to safe drinking water.

Years of hard work, passion and purpose have shaped OpBlue into what it is today, with a team and partner organisations across the globe helping to bring this vision to life. OpBlue has evolved into a broader Humanitarian Aid Organisation, focusing on three essential human rights of Water, Health and Education.

Jack is a Marine Biologist by trade, but has found his true passion in devoting his time to OpBlue, as well as Willow & Goose; a winery in the Adelaide Hills that he co-founded with his brother, Harry.

Fallon Roocke.

Director, OpEducation & OpHealth Coordinator.

  • Africa holds a special place in Fallon’s heart and working with OpBlue has given her the opportunity to turn a lifelong dream into reality.

With experience teaching and volunteering across Africa, Fallon understands firsthand the love these children have for learning, yet sadly, millions continue to be deprived of an education, and the fleeting opportunity to simply be a child.

OpEducation is a shared vision for providing a place for every child to learn, grow and develop into the next generation of change-makers.

Through her business, Fallon & Co, she loves helping Australian businesses evolve whilst using a portion of profits to support the work of OpBlue. For Fallon, working with OpBlue is the alignment of values, and the opportunity to help initiate change across the globe.

William Muchiru.

Kenya Regional Coordinator.

  • William is our Kenya Regional Coordinator, living and breathing the work of OpBlue on the ground, where he experiences the life-changing impact firsthand. Based in Thika, Kiambu county, William was once without education, having come from an underprivileged background. He counts his blessings that from a young age he was able to attend Huruma Children’s home, where he could then enjoy an education, shelter, food and clean water. It was a safe place for him to simply be a child and have the opportunity to learn and grow - a basic human right denied to far too many around him.

Today, William channels that passion into his work with OpBlue through our OpWater and OpEducation projects, and has become a vital member of our team. Having studied special needs education at Mount Kenya university, and being an Interact Representative in the Thika Region, teaching and mentoring high school students, and inclusivity of individuals with disabilities. William is dedicated to ensuring children receive the same access to education as he did.

William met Jack more than three years ago, and from there, a lifelong friendship and shared passion was formed in the foundation of OpBlue.

Connor Stalfort.

Data & Mapping Coordinator.

  • Connor has worked with several NGOs across the globe and in several different roles. From organising projects to alleviate food insecurity and inadequate shelter in Indonesia to supporting refugees and internally displaced people in Ukraine, as-well as designing team management systems for fair trade and youth development non-profits in his native United States.

Connor first got involved with Opblue in 2021 in the field supporting the implementation Clean Water Projects in Indonesia.

Connor also has a technical background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and is combining this with his field experience to support OpBlue’s Clean Water projects in Kenya.
